• Top-down(adj.)- starting with a general idea to which details are added later

• Ad hoc- formed, arranged or done for a particular purpose

• Bare(adj.)- the most basic or simple मूलभूत

• E.g. The family was short of even the bare necessities of life.

• Replicate sth- to copy sth exactly नकल करना

• E.g. This device replicates the human voice.

• A case in point- a clear example of the problem, situation etc, that is being discussed

• Daunting(adj.)- making sb feel nervous and less confident about sth कठिन
