THE HINDU VOCABULARY




•Zero-sum game- a situation in which what is gained by one person or group is lost by another person or group

•E.g. Chess is a zero-sum game.

•Halt(v.)- to stop; to make sb stop रोकना

•E.g. The police were halting traffic on the parade route.

•Product line- a group of related products that a company sells under a single brand

•Revocation(n.)- the act of cancelling a law etc. समाप्ति

•Zero out sth- to reduce the amount of sth

•Retaliation(against sb for sth)- बदलापूर्ण कार्यवाही

•Put off- postpone, delay , avert, defer, stave off टालना

•Come through – to arrive by telephone or through official organization E.g. A message is just coming through.
